"...Vom Nachtnebel Umarmte Wälder" is Arcana Noctis' first release, and a dream which finally turned into reality. I have to thank Fulmineos (Emilian Mătlak - Argus Megere/Fogland/Ordinul Negru...) for the support and inspiration for this release. It was his idea to start a label on which a new Fogland EP should have been released. I insisted that I do not want to release a Fogland EP and that he must use another band name and this was the "birth" of Ordinul Negru. At first this should have been a 3" CD-R but due to its length I thought that it would be better to release this as a split. The second band/project which I was in contact with, was Cosmic Transmigration (ex Glorification), one of the many projects of Sami Makkonen, a friend of mine from Finland with whom I've done lots of tape trades in the past. With Twilight Is Mine I got in contact trough a distro trade with Jamie Smith, a person which helped me with the website in the past, and the guy who was behind Parasite Records, which released one of the first Vinterriket EPs, "Kälte". Skaur was the last project which I got in contact with, he sent me the promo of the track and I thought it fits well in the the split.

From the epic sounds of Twilight Is Mine to the rawness of Cosmic Transmigration and Skaur to the dark atmosphere of Ordinul Negru, this release is a welcomed addition to the completists of the genre.

The front cover depicts a foggy evening over Pădurea Verde in Timișoara.
It was taken in the same session as the Ordinul Negru photos.

The artwork was made by Dr.Winter/Teratogen within 5 hours. ;)
